The kid was from Fairfax. Let me repeat that. The KID was from Fairfax.

How easily this could have been GMU, I can't even grasp the idea. I'm very grateful that Dan is out of school and that I have no classes on campus this semester. Walking across campus right now would make me feel like a moving target.

How does a 23 year old student premeditate something like this and murder his colleagues? How does that happen? Even if he felt like an outcast, how do you go from not feeling like a part of a group to killing that many? Is it ego? Psychosis?

There's a lot of evil in the world. I guess we're just lucky.

She has no idea what she's in store for. I'm already looking at personalized invitations. SO CUTE!!!!!!

And I'm collecting crazy baby shower games. Woot!

No one wants to see your stinky feet under that pretty dress!

These, on the other hand are Practical. PRACTICAL!!!!

Now everyone remind me of this when I complain about my feet at the reception.

Real update

Ben complains that I don't have any hobbies to put up on the website. I will complain that he never posts in his journal. Hah!!!

Anyway, wedding planning is going pretty well. We looked at a vineyard out in Bluemont this past weekend that was just GORGEOUS. So everything gets compared to that from here on out. It's an old beautifully restored stable with fantastic scenerey.

I'm leaning towards a June 6, 2008 date (6/7/08 - get it?) but we'll have to see what's available once we find a place.

Unfortunately I withdrew from my calculus class because I just *couldn't* get it. AT ALL. Thankfully GMU allows for these mistakes 3 times in an academic career. Hopefully I'll never have to do it again. I'm back to a History major. Now I wish I was taking a history class this semester but instead I will concentrate on my English class (so far I have an A!!!) and plan for a summer class or two to make up for messing up this spring. Lessons learned, right? Right!

The guys have a show in Manasass Friday. Should be interesting. Ben's B-day is Sunday. Woot! And there's something we're supposed to do Saturday but heck if I can remember what it is. Ah well. Oh yes, Ruth is having a candle party in the morning (yay candle crack!) but there's something else I'm forgetting this weekend. Maybe it's the piles of laundry on the bedroom floor. Yes, that could be it. ;-)
